Female Storosa obscura.
Small, shiny-headed, fast-moving spiders that often hunt with ants. Most have black or brown head with black body with bright white, yellow, or red spots. Legs usually black with white or yellow markings.

Many species and genera; up to 5 or six species in any one place.
No web is built but some make a burrow in trees or in the soil with palisade of twigs at the entrance.
The few bites recorded from a number of species have been of little concern; most other species are also expected to produce only mild temporary local symptoms.
